Disability Advisory Committee

Cowra Special Needs Services have an established advisory committee to act on behalf of the service users and families/carers using our services. Information regarding the committee is provided at each of our services.

Interpreter Services

Interpreter services can be accessed 24 hours per day 7 days a week when a client/service user has difficulty understanding English. This service has over 120 languages including Auslan. The role of the interpreter is to facilitate direct communication between clients and service providers, and provide any cultural information. This can be done either by phone, or a home visit for non-urgent requests.

If you need assistance in accessing this service, Cowra Special Needs Services have trained staff to assist you.
