Early Childhood Intervention Term 2 2019

Dear Families,

I hope as you read this newsletter you are nice and warm out of this cold weather.

We welcome all new families that have chosen our service to support their child through their NDIS plan. It’s good to see many new smiley faces as we work together to reach the goals on the plan.

Our audit in May resulted in outstanding results for all CSNS services. In regards to Early Intervention, our service is proud to be providing quality, evidence based programs to those families accessing our service. A big thank you to all the parents who agreed to spend time having a chat with the auditor. Your valuable feedback informs our service on many facets of service delivery.

I am pleased to say that our new speech pathologist begins work here on the 2nd July 2019. More information to come as the time draws nearer. Be rest assured that speech and language services are being handled by our more than capable teacher/ special educators who have a vast knowledge of child development.

Alice Lee Warner leaves us this week to adventure to the United Kingdom. Alice is a highly skilled OT and valued member of our team who we shall all miss dearly. We wish Alice all the very best in London.

Families in Grenfell and Greenthorpe are receiving our services on a week-ly basis with Sonny travelling each Monday to Grenfell. Partnerships with Grenfell Community Health and The Grenfell Preschool are now flourish-ing as we support children in their communities.
